Greetings GQG Friends!
First of all, I want to personally send out a heart-felt Thank You! to those of you who supported the Great Questions Group outreach financially in any way in 2020, and for helping me continue the work of this unique ministry.
It continues to progress, as I reach out to people everywhere I go–virtually and in person–and through His strength and guidance, endeavor to share the True, Eternal Answers to the Great Questions of Life with those that are seeking them.
We are all pleasing our Great Savior and King, and storing Eternal Treasure together!
Next, I have a need to share with you:
Unfortunately, Sandy Cove has yet to return my deposit of over $4500 which was for Vision 2020–which was canceled back in March due to Covid.
Consequently, my ministry account (MMI) is quite depleted.
Would you please consider making a year-end donation to help replenish it, if you feel led and are able to?
It would be most helpful and greatly appreciated as the ministry begins 2021!
Thank you, once again!
And as an FYI, I received this notification from the IRS recently…
Special Tax Deduction for Cash Donations to Charities in 2020
In the latest post on A Closer Look, Tax Exempt and Government Entities Commissioner Edward Killen reminds taxpayers there’s a special deduction for cash donations of up to $300 to a qualified charity in 2020. This $300 deduction is designed for taxpayers who take the Standard Deduction and aren’t normally able to deduct their donation.
Also, I thought I’d share a pic of my Two-Tiered Italian Christmas Candle Holder, circa 1977.
It was fashioned with a cutting torch from tin cans by an Italian Artisan who sold them at the Christmas Bazaar in the Piazza Navona, Rome Italy, where I was attending school at the time.
It now sits on my Devotional desk during Christmastime. 🙂
Finally, I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very Happy, Safe and Reflectful Christmas Holiday…as it is good to pause and remember, where would we be, if there had never been a Christmas?!
My warm thoughts and prayers are with each of you and yours!
Markus D 🙂
